My car. My brief.
My first film.
Some briefs you research. Some you live.

The Celerio was my car. I drove it every day. But beyond the personal connection, there was a real strategic story to tell.

At the time, automatic transmission in the economical hatchback segment was virtually unheard of. The Celerio had it. That one feature had the power to completely redefine what affordable city driving felt like, no gear shifts, no clutch anxiety, no drama. The brief was clear: blow up easy.

The predictable answer was a film about effortless driving. We had a different idea.
What if easy didn’t need to be demonstrated? What if it just needed to be felt?

So I wrote my car a love song.
Not a metaphor — an actual song. Written from the perspective of someone completely, helplessly in love with their car.
The features became lyrics — easy twists, easy turns, easy miles, easy smiles — woven in so naturally you barely notice them working.

I wrote the concept, the script, the lyrics, and the scratch jingle. Then I picked up my guitar and performed it live in the conference room to Maruti’s leadership.

They bought it in the room.

It was my first film. And it started because I understood exactly what made this car different.
